I think I'm incredibly lucky to be doing what I'm doing. Sacrifice is a subjective word, but once I had paid off the mortgage and put kids in school, I sort of committed to move the business towards what could make a positive difference.
Now we only do things which can make a really positive difference. In the old days, business was all about leverage, the maximum possible fiscal benefit, the least possible input of time, of money. It's exactly the same now, but it's philanthropic. It's business to make a huge difference. We go for the maximum possible leverage for society, for the environment.
